Ah, not exactly. My husband and I stumbled on some things that were quite upsetting; they were a bit too close to his past life and I insisted we come home immediately.
[He almost leaves it at that, but...]
If you do get the urge to go exploring, stay far away from the factory. It's not exactly easy to get to in the first place, but something in there does strange things to your head. It was... incredibly upsetting.
[He shakes his head a bit once that's out there.]
But we're both doing much better now that we're home! We're most likely headed back up to Magatus at some point, but for now we're just taking a breather.
The people there aren't very happy with us for trying to convince them to leave, but some of them come with us more easily than others. The efforts are going well, at least; it's just difficult.
I remembered a few things up there, and a few other things since. My past actions - the ones that concerned me so much last time we spoke - make much more sense to me now.
It's like I said then - I've remembered many terrible things. But the person I was then wouldn't have wanted anyone to suffer, and I can't really find much fault with him for that.
Ah, my apologies, I didn't mean to assume. I'm glad you have someone you can talk to about this sort of thing. It can be difficult to try to process it and deal with it all on your own!
...We spoke for a while, about all sorts of things. He was the one that helped me figure out context for what was happening in my past life, and I greatly appreciate it.
I also asked him if I could contact him if things went poorly, as I said I would.
No, no, of course, that's very fair. Should you ever want an outside opinion on anything, I certainly wouldn't mind listening. But I do understand that, and I'm not offended at all!

How were things up there for you?

I'll be all right, I think.

[Mm.]
I remembered a bit more about my wife; we had a child together, apparently.

I loved her very much; I wanted to give her the world. I don't feel odd about it at all.

I'm sorry about your husband's experiences up in Magatus, however. It sounds like his memories are probably difficult as well.

[He could go on but he'll spare you.]

Was there something in particular you wanted today, or was this just to catch up, incidentally?

And it's just to catch up! I wanted to see how you've been doing; it seems like you've been doing well!
[Which is honestly a relief...]
