Ah, my apologies, I didn't mean to assume. I'm glad you have someone you can talk to about this sort of thing. It can be difficult to try to process it and deal with it all on your own!
...We spoke for a while, about all sorts of things. He was the one that helped me figure out context for what was happening in my past life, and I greatly appreciate it.
I also asked him if I could contact him if things went poorly, as I said I would.
No, no, of course, that's very fair. Should you ever want an outside opinion on anything, I certainly wouldn't mind listening. But I do understand that, and I'm not offended at all!
...I've remembered doing something terrible to a large number of people. Not simply planning, but succeeding. We don't think it happened to everyone, but we don't know if it was ever reversed - if such a thing is possible to begin with.
It's not an easy thing, and I can't imagine it would be any better trying to discuss it with just anyone.
Oh, I understand. My apologies, I'm not attempting to pry. I do understand how it could be something you don't want to discuss with anyone else.
[Honestly, he agrees with that more than his husband's take on it, but he supports his husband in everything he does and it does seem to help him, so.]
I hope it's something that was able to be reversed at some point, though.
...I do as well. I'll be all right even if it wasn't, but it was something that shouldn't have been done in the first place, especially because I don't think I meant to hurt them.
[...He wasn't really thinking of it anywhere near the context of hurting them in the first place.]
You wanted to help people, ja? I do hope things end up working out as well as they can in your memories. It can be difficult not knowing what's going to happen.
It wasn't a black-and-white situation, unfortunately - it wasn't quite down to helping them or not. There was a situation in which I had to choose between leaving them be to live out their lives unchallenged but ultimately cursing them to die, or saving them from an all-encompassing threat but harming them all terribly in the process.

I'm sorry about your husband's experiences up in Magatus, however. It sounds like his memories are probably difficult as well.

[He could go on but he'll spare you.]

Was there something in particular you wanted today, or was this just to catch up, incidentally?
no subject
And it's just to catch up! I wanted to see how you've been doing; it seems like you've been doing well!
[Which is honestly a relief...]

I chose to do the latter.
